Who is responsible

Raúl Alonso Pardo, as an individual, runs this waitlist for the Erasmates project. Contact for anything about your data: privacy@erasmates.eu.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist:

The site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts, fonts or maps. Our hosts keep ordinary technical request logs (which include IP addresses) for a short period to run and protect the service.

Why, and on what legal basis

To email you once when the Erasmates app opens for your city, and to understand which cities have demand. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a), which you give by ticking the box. The hashed IP and the technical logs rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the form free from abuse (Art. 6.1.f).

If you are asked to confirm your email, we send one message with a link. If you never click it, we treat your signup as unconfirmed and do not use it for anything beyond that.

How long

Until the launch emails are sent, or 12 months after you sign up at most, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. The IP hash is erased after 30 days. Signups older than 12 months are deleted automatically.

Who else sees it

The companies above are US-based, so some access from outside the EU/EEA is possible; they rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or use it to profile you. No automated decision about you is made.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawing does not affect what happened before). Write to privacy@erasmates.eu from the address you signed up with; we answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

Age

This waitlist is for people aged 16 or over.

City names and coordinates come from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Country borders come from Natural Earth (public domain).
